Estonian Air
Estonian Air
was established established as a state company in 1991, after the country became
independent. In 1996, the Estonian government decided to privatize the airline
offered for sale 66% of the shares. The Danish airline Maersk Air and Estonian
investment bankers, Cresco Ltd ., won the privatization. In 2003, SAS AB signed
an agreement with Danish Maersk Air A/S to acquire 49% of the shares in the
Estonian airline Estonian Air.
