It is the first airline in Cyprus to introduce new Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft and concentrates its efforts on safety, punctuality, reliability and excellent service. Helios Airways HistoryHelios Airways was established in 1999. The following year, it operated the first charter flight to London Gatwick. 2001 saw the first scheduled flight to Sofia, Bulgaria and two years later, Helios Airways started flights to Dublin, Ireland. In December 2002, Helios Airways launched direct flights to London Luton. One year later, it began operating flights to Manchester and London Gatwick.
