Kuwait Airways
Kuwait Airways was established in 1954. A year later, the company had economic
troubles and the government initially took a 50% interest in the airline,
doubling its capital. By 1962, the company was 100% state owned and started
international services. Many of its aircraft was destroyed during the Iraqi
invasion so the company was re-launched. Kuwait Airways' objective is to
re-establish its network and reach more than 46 countries worldwide.
